first step is to assess your physical condition. A health risk appraisal
inventories your risk for debilitating diseases, evaluates your
nutritional habits, and measures your knowledge of preventive care.
Your VO2MAX
health and fitness consultant will use the HealthFirst TriFIT System
to individualize a program to meet your needs, goals and preferences.
TriFIT is built
on the latest technology and protocols from the nation's leading
authorities, including the American College of Sports Medicine,
the American Heart Association, and the American Dietetic Association.
Your fitness
assessment includes:
- Cardiovascular
Endurance: We use an interactive bicycle ergometer to determine
your cardiovascular endurance.
- Muscle Strength:
We use an interactive bicep strength force platform.
- Flexibility:
Flexibility is measured using the interactive sit-reach test.
- Body Composition:
We use an interactive skinfold test as well as bioelectrical impedance
to measure your body composition.
Because any
program designed to improve health must include all components of
fitness, VO2MAX will develop a comprehensive plan to help you maximize
your health and fitness potential. Your balanced fitness program
